Discovery is Taimi’s main section, where users can interact with potential matches according to their preferences.

To open Discovery, tap the first icon in the bottom-left corner.

To Like a profile on Discovery, press the thumbs-up button – 👍🏽

To Skip a profile on Discovery, press the cross-mark button – ❌

If you have a premium subscription, you can also use the Instant Chat feature to message someone directly!

To view someone’s profile before deciding to like or skip it on Discovery, swipe upwards to see their profile information and tap on the right until you’ve seen all of their cards.

Taimi Explore is a feature that allows you to see, like, and match with people in a location different from your real one!

You can purchase it from the Preferences menu in the Discovery section.

For example: if you live in New York, you’ll get a chance to meet people from Paris, Mexico City, or any other city in the world.

This feature works in all countries where Taimi is available.

To change your search preferences, please follow these instructions:

• Open Taimi;

• Go to Discovery (first section in the bottom app menu);

• On the top-right corner, tap the button with three lines on it;

• Adjust your search filters;

• Save them by pressing “Apply filters” at the bottom of the screen.

Keep in mind that some filters may only be available in certain Premium packages.

If you have a premium subscription, you can use the Instant Chat feature to message someone directly without having to wait for them to like you back! ✨

Instant Chats are limited according to each subscription plan.

To check how many Instant Chats your premium plan includes, please access the “Premium” section in your profile.

To be able to send someone a message and chat, you first need to match with them.

A match is a mutual like. When you like someone, and this person likes you back, there’s a match!

You can find the profiles you’ve skipped in the Throwback section. 

To get to this section, follow these instructions:

• Open Taimi;

• Go to Discovery (first icon in the bottom menu);

• Click on the repeat icon in the top-right corner.

The app adjusts your location based on the geographical data you share with the app when you enable your location services. 

Taimi sets your location to the city or town closest to you and automatically adjusts it when you change your physical location.

If your location is being displayed incorrectly, please, check the following phone settings:
