Taimi and LA Pride Partnership: We Are America the Beautiful

June, 11, Los Angeles - Taimi is partnering with Christopher Street West, a nonprofit organization that produces the annual LA Pride Parade in Los Angeles.

Christopher Street West (CSW), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, organized the world’s first permitted gay parade in the world on June 28, 1970, to commemorate the Stonewall Riots in New York City the year prior. Over 50 years later, they have built a rich history as an active voice for the LGBTQ+ community across Greater Los Angeles.

At Taimi, we believe that this year's Pride events are incredibly important because the past year and a half have seen the passing or proposal of hundreds of anti-LGBTQ+ laws in the United States, which are having a serious impact on our community. We believe that this state of affairs is unacceptable and actively work to promote the beauty and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. These events serve as a crucial platform for us to express our needs, showcase our identities, celebrate our lives and love, and stand against injustices, and partnering with LA Pride is a huge honor for us.
