Taimi and Gorillas unite for a charitable social media campaign, #FasterWithLove to support the Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons' Trust and its efforts by committing to making a joint donation. Taimi users will be able to take part in this initiative by helping to raise money by engaging with the campaign via Instagram.
February 9, London, UK – Taimi, the largest LGBTQ+ dating app, and Gorillas, an on-demand grocery delivery company, are combining efforts to launch a Valentine’s Day in-app and social media campaign directly engaging Taimi users. From February 14 till the end of the month, Taimi users will get special discount vouchers for Gorillas services. The dating app community will be encouraged to share these vouchers via Instagram stories with the mentions @taimiapp and @gorillasapp.uk. For every Instagram story, Taimi and Gorillas are going to donate £15 to Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons' Trust. The main mission of which is to support, educate, and inspire young LGBT+ persons and those around them.
“We at Taimi believe that occasions such as Valentine's Day have been good not only for enjoying romantic celebrations but also for highlighting important social topics, uniting the LGBTQ+ community, and sharing love with those who need it the most. Educating and supporting young queer people are integral tasks in the human rights agenda. By running the #FasterWithLove campaign, we, first and foremost, want to draw attention to initiatives and organisations that advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. This is exemplified by the people at Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons' Trust. We invite everyone involved to join us in spreading the word,” — Diana Ly, Global Partnerships Lead at Taimi.
One of the organisational principles that Taimi embraces is its commitment to strengthening the LGBTQ+ community. In order to achieve this goal, Taimi actively seeks out opportunities to collaborate with brands that share their values. This is why the collaboration with Gorillas is such a perfect match. By working together, Taimi and Gorillas will deliver love and empowerment to LGBTQ+ youth this Valentine’s Day.
“We’re excited to be working with Taimi on such an important partnership that looks to spread the love this Valentine’s Day within the LGBTQ+ community. It’s important that people from all communities are able to celebrate the occasion, and it’s great that, by working with Taimi, we’ll be able to raise invaluable funds for Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons' Trust.” — Danny Barry, UK Brand Lead at Gorillas.
Taimi and Gorillas are planning to transfer the donation in early March. Both believe that using simple social media mechanics can help effectively raise awareness and emphasise queer needs among the LGBTQ+ community and allies.
“We’re blown away by Taimi and Gorillas’ pledge to donate to Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust for the #FasterWithLove campaign. As well as raising awareness and spreading queer joy, this could have a huge impact on our organisation. We use these funds to provide accessible activities, programmes, and services that inspire young LBGT+ people to be proud of who they are – something you can’t put a price on.”— Łukasz Konieczka, Executive Director, Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust.
