Taimi Rolls Out DIAMONDS: In-App “Prestige” Points with Monetization Potential

Diamonds are a part of a virtual rating system meant to represent each user’s contribution to the platform.

Taimi livestreams were introduced three months ago and became a crucial part of the platform’s overall business model. The platform understands the importance of recognizing everyone’s contribution to making the platform better — as a dating app, a social network, and a streaming service.

From now on, every user will be rewarded with Taimi Diamonds for attracting new users, hosting livestreams, generating unique content, getting reactions (likes, comments) from the audience, etc. The Streamers can collect Diamonds for being active and spreading awareness about the platform automatically via a special in-app algorithm. The algorithm uses a formula to calculate an overall “contribution” of a Streamer after each individual livestream. Based on the result, the Streamer receives a certain amount of Taimi Diamonds.

The algorithm tracks several variables and rewards the Streamer with the Diamonds after each livestream:

• For every 30 mins of livestreaming
• For every 30 audience comments
• For every 20 audience reactions (e.g. Likes)
• For every gift (the gifts can be sent by Taimi users to show their appreciation to the Streamer)

The Streamers can also get special offers from Taimi — if the Support Team sees that the user generates high-quality content and creates awareness about Taimi, they may be invited to join the Taimi Influencers Team.
