TAIMI — LGBTQI+ Social Network and Dating App celebrates the day that showcases incredible diversity of women loving women around the world.

Lesbian Visibility Day is on Sunday, April 26th. The day is a part of the first-ever Lesbian Visibility Week that starts on the 20th. The week was created by DIVA Magazine to “celebrate lesbians and show solidarity with all women in our community”.

In February, TAIMI’s Head of Business Development Halyna Virt gave an in-depth interview to DIVA Magazine on what the app is doing for the LGBTQI+ people around the globe.

In light of Lesbian Visibility week DIVA Magazine published an amazing list of 100 talented, strong, dedicated visible lesbians.

TAIMI, wants to salute all lesbians and remind them to be visible, to speak out against bullying, anger, harassment and discrimination.

Here are just a few of the incredible women who made the list. These lesbians are certainly making incredible things happen not only for their community but for the whole world!

The episode was somewhat based on her personal coming out experience. Waithe is known for working to recruit more people of color and queer artists in both film and TV industries.

Megan Rapinoe — one of the most vocal lesbian voices of 2019. Rapinoe made headlines for speaking out against inequality, racism, advocating LGBTQ+ rights, and taking on Donald Trump’s policies. The U.S. national soccer team forward led her country’s team to World Cup Victory last year. Rapinoe was recognized as the best player of the year.
